【歴史と伝統】

製造を手掛けるのは、創業450年を誇る宇治の老舗「上林春松本店」。

江戸時代には、茶師の最高位である「御物御茶師（ごもつおちゃし）」として、徳川将軍家や各大名にお茶を納めてきた歴史を持ちます。現在は十四代目当主のもと、その誇りと伝統的な製法を守り続けています。

■「早摘昔」の由来とこだわり

「早摘昔（さづみむかし）」の名は、江戸時代の茶摘みの歴史に由来します。

当時、気候により平年よりも茶の芽立ちが早い年がありました。

そうした年に、いち早く摘み採られた若葉を使って製したお茶につけられたのが、この「早摘昔」という茶銘です。

いち早く芽吹いた茶葉の記憶と、自然の恵みを今に伝える格式高い銘です。

The Story of "Early Harvest" (Sazumi):

The name "Sazumimukashi" comes from the history of tea picking in the Edo period.

In years when the climate caused tea buds to sprout earlier than usual, the very first young leaves were picked to create this special tea. The name "Sazumi" literally means "Early Picking."

This tea carries the memory of those early harvests and the blessings of nature.

Produced by Kanbayashi Shunsho Honten, a legendary tea house in Uji established 450 years ago.
