Hi, I’m Takashi Narusawa from Maru Take Ebisu.

I decided to dig into the latest nutritional data to understand why, and the results confirmed that Matcha is the ultimate "Smart" Superfood.




1. The Caffeine Truth: Same Substance, Different Quality

According to the Standard Tables of Food Composition in Japan (2020):

  • Black Coffee (140ml): Approx. 80mg of caffeine.

  • Matcha (2g bowl): Approx. 64mg of caffeine.
