【歴史と伝統】

製造を手掛けるのは、創業450年を誇る宇治の老舗「上林春松本店」。

江戸時代には、茶師の最高位である「御物御茶師（ごもつおちゃし）」として、徳川将軍家や各大名にお茶を納めてきた歴史を持ちます。現在は十四代目当主のもと、その誇りと伝統的な製法を守り続けています。

■「瑞鳳」の由来とこだわり

「瑞鳳（ずいほう）」は、大徳寺十一代管長・雪窓宗甫（せっそうそうほ）師よりいただいた由緒ある茶銘です。

「初昔」と同様に、雪窓宗甫師との深い縁により名付けられました。

その名は、めでたい兆しとされる想像上の鳥「鳳凰（ほうおう）」を意味しており、お祝いの席やお使い物としても大変喜ばれる銘です。

Named by the Abbot of Daitokuji Temple:

Like our premium "Hatsumukashi," the name "Zuiho" was bestowed by Sessō Sōho, the 11th Abbot of Daitokuji Temple.

"Zuiho" refers to an auspicious phoenix, symbolizing good fortune. It is highly recommended not only for daily enjoyment but also as a gift for celebrations.

Produced by Kanbayashi Shunsho Honten, a legendary tea house in Uji established 450 years ago.
